When Apple introduced the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, they also announced that the new operating system “iOS 8” is available as a free download on September 17.

Extensibility: An app can now communicate with another app.
CONTINUITY: As long as you’re logged in with the same Apple ID, has a device able to take over where the other left off.
MESSAGES: With simple actions you can send audio messages, several frames at a time, and video clips
FAMILY SHARING: This is a way more members of the family can share the content purchased on one Apple ID. Up to six people can share their purchases on the iTunes App Store and iBooks.
ICloud DRIVE: When a document or a file is uploaded to the cloud, it is available from any device you have.
PICTURES: All pictures you take, no matter what device you use, are now stored in the cloud and is accessible from any other device.
HEALTH: This app will collect information related to health and fitness.
